GreenBytes Names Paul Silver as Vice President, EMEA

Data Storage Solutions Provider Also Announces Opening of London, UK Office

Ashaway, R.I. – November 30, 2011 – GreenBytes® Inc., a developer of high-performance, energy-efficient inline data deduplication storage solutions, today announced that Paul Silver has joined the company as vice president, EMEA. Silver, the former vice president, EMEA for EqualLogic, will be responsible for driving GreenBytes sales and channel activities throughout EMEA, as well as overseeing the opening and management of the company’s newly established offices in London, UK.

Prior to joining GreenBytes, Silver worked as vice president of sales, EMEA at DynamicOps, vice president of EMEA at VirtenSys, channel sales director, EMEA at Dell EqualLogic, and vice president, EMEA at EqualLogic prior to the Dell acquisition. Silver has also held executive-level sales positions with Intransa, Cellectivity, Avanti Europe, Entevo and Data Translation, Inc.

Silver will be based at GreenBytes’ London offices located at 43-45 Portman Square, London, W1H 6HN United Kingdom, and will assume his position immediately.
