My interests were piqued by the replication available in the GreenBytes units when using two. This lead to more investigation of GreenBytes as well as Dell offerings for data storage.  In the end, the Dell offerings were still DAS (direct attached storage) oriented and I felt that was not forward thinking enough considering the costs were close to the same and no "built-in" replication was available out of the box.
